Hyundai ‘Creta’ car at 34 lakh taka, with buy-back facility

The new car of the ‘Creta’ model of Hyundai, a South Korean company incorporated in Bangladesh, has arrived in the market. This 1500 cc SUV type car is officially available in the market from today Tuesday. The price of this new car at the dealership has been fixed at 34 lakh 50 thousand taka.

On this occasion, Fair Technology Limited, the local manufacturer of Hyundai, organized a press conference at the Hyundai 3S Center located in Tejgaon of the capital. At that time, the director and chief executive (CEO) of Fair Technology Mutassim Dayan told about the marketing and price of the ‘Creta’ model car made in the country.

Fair Technology Business Head Arindam Chakraborty, Fair Group Communication Head Hasnain Khurshed, Marketing Head JM Taslim Kabir, Fair Technology Sales Head Abu Naser Mahmud, Product Manager Rubayat Uddin, Sales Operations Manager Ataur Rahman etc. were also present in the press conference.

In the press conference, Director of Fair Technology, Mutassim Dayan said, “It was our dream for a long time that the car made in the country would run on the soil of the country. Finally it is going to be fulfilled. This journey has started with Hyundai’s Creta model car at the initial stage. In the future, our production activities will be expanded further.

Mutassim Dayan said that the price of the new Creta brand car will start from Tk 34 lakh 50 thousand. In this case, customers can buy the car at a lower price of Tk 8-10 lakh compared to similar imported cars. Mutassim Dayan said Hyundai Crater customers will get warranty benefits of five years or up to 100,000 km mileage, which is usually three years for imported cars.

Apart from this, Fair Technology is introducing buy-back facility to increase the confidence of Crater customers. Under this facility, if a customer wants to sell his car after a certain period, the selling company will buy it at a fixed price.

In the case of Hyundai Creta cars, Fair Technology has a buy-back facility of up to 60 percent of the purchase price within 3 years or 40,000 km mileage. That is, if someone wants to sell his car within this period or mileage, he can sell it at 60 percent of the purchase price.

Usually in the country, if someone wants to sell a new car after using it for a few days, good prices are not available. In this case, Hyundai’s home-made car will be somewhat of an exception. A Fair Technology official said that the buyers will also benefit by selling the used car through the buy-back facility.

The official production process of Creta model Hyundai car started last Thursday at Bangabandhu Hi-Tech City located in Kaliakore, Gazipur. Industries Minister Nurul Majid Mahmud Humayun inaugurated the new car. At the same time, Hyundai’s car manufacturing plant was also inaugurated in the country.
